The robot, Chipmunk, is designed to be compact and completive. It has 4 floors with different functions. The first floor is for drivetrain, bumpers and battery. As the base floor, it contains the heaviest parts of robot so that the center of the gravity of robot is very low, which can guarantee the stability of Chipmunk during moving. The second floor is designed to place the photo-transistors. There are three photo-transistors in each side with small angles between each other. The ramrod and breadboard are placed on the third floor. The coin collector is at the top of the robot. Two servos are used to open and close the doors, which are controlled according to our strategy. These four floors are connected using 4 screws of 8’’ of length.
